Vice President and Chairman of AKP, Yasin Aktay; Çerkezköy District Governor Metin Kubilay; Mayor Vahap Akay; Chairman of the Executive Board of TRPHARM, Alexy Repik; its Head of Turkey District, Tuygan Göker; its General Manager, Mehmet Göker; Chief Constable of the District, Murat Ogan; Chairman of the Board of Çerkezköy OIZ, Eyüp Sözdinler; District Health Director, Olcay Palak;  Public Relations Manager of Çerkezköy OIZ, Dr. Gökhan İnce,  business people, and a large quantity of guests attended the groundbreaking ceremony.
Following  a moment of silence and listening to the  Turkish National Anthem, TRPHARM’s Head of Turkey Tuygan Göker made his opening speech, saying that all their works and projects  are human-centered and that they aim for becoming a company matching the world standards in this context. Göker said: “This facility will become a scientific center that will add value to Turkey. We will be manufacturing the products which we will bring from abroad by means of technology transfer under license agreements. This will be a first in Turkey.”
Göker, explained that the target of their company, which was founded two years ago, is to make investments in Turkey in biotechnology field and at the same time, to make a certain contribution to Turkey bit by bit with their R&D investments. He said that their biggest ambition is to bring these special products that will be manufactured under high technology standards into the use of patients and doctors.
“THE EFFECTS OF THE MANUFACTURED DRUGS HAVE TO BE FURTHER ENHANCED”
And the Chairman of the Executive Board, Alexy Repik expressed that innovative approaches and cooperations were needed in order to become successful in the industry.  Alexy Repik: “Today, we gather here to lay the foundations of this investment that is created by the entrepreneurial spirit we mutually formed. Biotechnology is ahead of modern technology in this day and age. The deteriorations in health issues worldwide have increased almost 2 times.  And this situation made certain required armamentaria of treatment a necessity. In this sense, new drugs must be developed and the effects of the manufactured drugs have to be further enhanced in order to meet the medical needs.”
Alexy Repik stated that there are bureaucratic obstacles confronted in the biotechnology industry in the global markets and reported: “In order to cope with these problems it is needed to let go of the old regulations and move forward to new ones. This, is a big responsibility for the authorities.  The work Turkey carries out within the scope of vision 2023 will be very effective in transforming the district into a new science center. I hope that this new investment that we are starting to construct here will be successful.”
BEFORE AND AFTER 2002 IN HEALTHCARE

The program continued with the speech of Yasin Aktay, the Vice President and Press Secretary of the AKP. He reported, in his speech, the great reforms that have been made in the health care field during the period of their 14 year government. Yasin Aktay compared the conditions of health sector in Turkey before and after 2002, he expressed: “We have gathered here for a very important and fortunate event. First comes human. Human factor forms the axis of both our politics and economy. Before 2002, there were poor quality health care services and medicines at prohibitive prices. Turkish people did not deserve that. We acted according to the saying ‘Keep the people live and so will they keep the state live.’ With the health reforms we have made, we have reached a level that is equally good with the health care services in Europe and theUSA”.
“HIGH COSTS WERE REFLECTED TO THE PEOPLE”
Yasin Aktay expressed that pharmacist could buy many drugs at much cheaper prices when compared with 12 years before “This has happened so, thanks to our reforms in pharmaceutical industry. Before, due to the wrong government policies, drugs were bought at prohibitive costs. And the state was reflecting these costs to the people as poor quality health care services and high priced medicines. Thankfully, those days are now in the past. As AKP Government, we incentivize the investments made in the biotechnology sector. And this is one of the investments we have incentivized.”After the speeches, the protocol members and company executives pressed the button and the first mortar of the facility was thus placed.  The groundbreaking ceremony ended with various treats offered to the attendees.
IT WILL BECOME OPERTAIONAL IN THE END OF 2018.
